Subject: Speed Demon wrongly accusing me of 'ramming'
Subjects name: Speed Demon (has an aqua coloured name)
Subjects LFS Username: Was unable to retrieve the info, as I forgot to get his username (he is pretty active on montana so most of you may of seen him)
Reason: wrongly accusing me of ramming him when it was a clear pit, then at the end of the chase when I blocked him, he refused to pay the fine I set (450) and argued with me that I 'full on rammed' him.
Time/place: This morning at around 8:00am (reason late report is I have been college all day and only had the chance to write this)

Here a short vid off youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy3jvfuZ_So

It was that specific part of the vid in the chase where he accused me of ramming, as he was saying I 'full on rammed him' after I pitted him and he hit the wall on highway 1.

Here are some screenies of the chat after I busted him with the arguement because he would not pay his fine and accusing me of ramming him.

Sorry if I am making a big deal out of it (sorry for the low quality pics aswell, I think u can just about see the text...)
But I get really annoid when people accuse COPs of ramming, as it just puts them down, when in real fact, they are doing the rite thing and piting fine, just the suspect sees it as 'ramming'. My main complaint is that he sed it was a 'full on ram' as where u can see... its a nudge in the correct place... he also did not pay his fine in the end. This was about 1/2 minutes into the chase, as he failed to stop (started chase as he was wrong side of raod in interstate junction) I gave all the warnings, had my sirens on, he failed to stop after a while through the chase, so that was the first couple of PITs in the chase. Before I attempted the PIT monourvers, I did give warning that I will use force. So in my eyes, I did nothing wrong, and I am being wrongly accused.

Aslso very sorry for the long post, it has to all be said...

Well I carn't see anything wrong at all with the PIT manouver SPOT ON, as for the little nudge when you were on the grass definatly not a RAM. You were anticipating his next move.

just my 2p's worth

If that's the video evidence...

That is a perfectly executed P.I.T. maneuver. I would like to see what speed demon has to say about this before I kill him and take all his money.

Chuck.

Ok, thanks guys. At least it is hopefully cleared up. Just thought I would add this complaint just in case if he did actually report me for ramming, and to hoepfully stop him wrongly accusing in the future...

Thanks for your help :)

I know, i was annoid at the time, and thats all i had to say to try and make him pay his fine, i just get really annoid when people keep accusing cops of ramming (most of the time it is a ram) but when its a tap and they say you full speed ram them, its not on. I know i shunt of sed 'ur banned' at the end, but its all i had to say... just seems like he is probs going to carry on and keep wrongly accusing other cops...
